Shawshank Redemption

I watched this movie few days ago. In my opinion, it's one of the greatest films ever made.

It's also top rated movie on imdb.com. The movie has got great actors, including Morgan Freeman. Also Tim Robbins' performance is really good.

In the beginning of the movie, the main character Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins) is sued for the murder of his wife and her lover. He is sentenced to two life sentences at Shawshank State Penitentiary. He becomes friends with Ellis "Red" Redding. "Red" is known for getting stuff for the other prisoners. Andy ask's for "Red" to get him a stone hammer. Andy quickly becomes friends with the prison warden Samuel Norton (Bob Gunton). Norton develops a scam to get a lot of money with the help of the prisoners, and Andy launder the money under the false identity of Randall Stevens. For exhange Andy keeps his private cell and maintains the library. What nobody knows, is that Andy has digged a hole to get away all his time at the prison. And the other thing that the warden and the others don't know, is that all the time Andy has laundered money for warden, he has actually had a lot of money waiting for himself at several banks, when he escapes from the prison. Also "Red" has served his time at the prison. At the end the two prison friends reunite. They start repairing an old boat, so they can go sailing.

Today was the first time on the blogger. I learned how to use it and I made my own blog. I didn't write anything yet. I learned maybe few new words, but I don't remember them.

If I got time, I'll finish my movie review of The Lord of the Rings. I could start reading my book maybe. I learned how to spell "fight" correctly.

I learned what "arvostelu" is in English. Also I gave myself some homework for tonight. Let's see if I do some exercises.

Ah, finally finished my article about clothes. And I checked how to write "probably" right. I should do some exercises at home. Also I've commented some blogs, so that should make my grade go up?! It should right?! Right?!?!?

Today, if I have time, I'll do some english exercises at home. I also have my review of The Lord of the Rings almost done. I didn't learn any new words today. I also didn't have to go to kaannos.com to check how to spell words. I'm proud of myself!

I really have to do more in this blog. I started writing about Metallica. I think I'll get some text on that. I should do homework at home, because I haven't done very much exercises.

Self-evaluation
I think this blog was pretty fun to make. It was very different than the other things we did in english. I haven't done anything like this ever. I haven't had a blog ever. But, sometimes this was really hard to do. Like writing about fashion. I didn't like that. That's why I had so little text about it. It was pretty fun to write about Metallica, because I knew everything I wrote and I didn't have to go to wikipedia (often). I may have forgotten to write about performing arts or something like that. It's just because I don't know anything about it. If I don't know anything, why would I write anything. Commenting on others blogs was fun :). No-one can say anything and you just tease them. Heheheh. Learning diary was not so fun to make. Everytime I go write to my learning diary, my head is empty. I could have written more about everything, but quality over quantity.
And teacher, you don't have to improve this blog-thing. It's hard enough. Or maybe you should make it harder for the 8 and 7-graders. I learned some new words by making this blog. Not many, but few.
I should get 8 from this blog, because my texts are quality texts. There aren't many of them, but they sure are great! I think my best section was music. Everything I wrote was from my heart <3!
I should get a nine for my english grade, because I've been active all year and I can speak, write and read english very well. Also my grade has allways been nine, but it doesn't matter, i guess.
